By installing, accessing, or using ZeTabs (the "Extension" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ZeTabs is a browser extension that allows users to save and restore browser tab sessions. The Service includes:

• Free tier: Max 3 sessions stored
• Pro tier: Unlimited sessions with paid subscription
• Quick save and restore of all open tabs
• Local storage in your browser

3. User Accounts and Licenses

Free Tier

The free tier allows you to store a maximum of 3 tab sessions. There is no time-based quota - the limit is on total sessions stored.

Pro Subscription

Pro subscriptions provide unlimited tab session storage. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and automatically renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through our website or by contacting support.

4. Payment and Refunds

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By purchasing a Pro subscription, you agree to:

• Provide accurate payment information
• Authorize us to charge your payment method for subscription fees
• Automatic renewal until you cancel

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ZeTabs only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to circumvent storage limits or payment systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Extension
• Share your Pro license key with others
• Resell or redistribute the Service
• Use automated tools to abuse the Service

6. Intellectual Property

Your Data: You retain all rights to your tab session data. We do not claim ownership of your browsing data and do not store it on our servers (free tier).

Our Property: ZeTabs, including its code, design, logo, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our permission.

7. Privacy and Data

Your use of ZeTabs is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We store all tab sessions locally on your device and never upload them to our servers (free tier). We collect minimal data necessary to operate the Service and process payments.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

Service "As Is"

ZeTabs is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Data Backup Responsibility

While we strive to ensure reliable storage of your tab sessions, you are solely responsible for maintaining backups of any critical information. We recommend exporting important sessions regularly.

9. Service Changes and Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time
• Change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers
• Update these Terms with notice to users
• Terminate accounts that violate these Terms

If we terminate your account for cause, you will not be entitled to a refund. If we discontinue the Service, we will provide pro-rata refunds for unused subscription time.

10. Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain Pro access until then, and no refund will be issued for the current billing period (except within the 14-day money-back guarantee period).

11. Third-Party Services

ZeTabs integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payment processing) and Supabase (database). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your screenshots, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through negotiation in good faith. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Italy.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Extension. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ZeTabs regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
